On the third Saturday of the month from 10:00 to 12:00, Prospect Hunger Program collects food donations to support our partner food pantry at St. Joseph's Catholic Church and MEND of Essex County. We also offer donation times for the Prospect Co-op Preschool families to donate during the week.

On the third Sunday of each month, the Prospect Hunger Program makes sandwiches and snacks for those who are hungry. An assembly line of volunteers bags the lunches during Fellowship time after the worship service.

Volunteers prepare the assembly line, pack lunches, and distribute lunches at Newark Penn Station the following Tuesday. We partner with Solidarity Path Project to distribute the food each month. Volunteers also purchase all of the food for the lunches earlier in the week.
