Confronting Racism, Connecting to Community

STARTING TODAY(Ash Wednesday)!!!! Join us for daily zoom devotional using the Lent of Liberation: Confronting The Legacy of American Slavery. Each day, Rev. Dr. Rick Boyer will read the devotion which includes an excerpt from The Underground Railroad: A Record by William Still. Still led many to freedom on the Underground Railroad during the 1800’s. Each devotion also includes little known facts about how the institution of slavery built America. Finally, each devotion includes a Scripture reading, reflection and questions to discuss. While that sounds like a lot, the reading will take less than five minutes. A time of reflection and discussion on the questions will follow. The entire time together will be fifteen minutes. This will be via Zoom every day at 4:00 p.m.. Check your email for the link or contact the church office.
